YIKES! Almost six months since my last post ...I'll keep this one short and to the point.

It's been just over two months that the World Cup has been over and I understand that I mentioned that right after the event I would be ready to go and all but I am not :((

With all this time off I was unsure if I was ever going to be able or wanting to return . I simply put so much on my plate before that I wasn't having fun anymore. Losing weight and my face breaking out was a huge giveaway of how things were changing for the worse. With so much time to reflect on everything but more importantly learn from everything I came to the one conclusion that I will return ...but I will return when I am ready and in all honesty I won't be coming back big this year.

What I do want to do is start having fun and the only way I know how is to start interacting with you guys again. As some of you may or may not know I have been the most active on twitter so if you are not following me you should start because twitter and my blog moving forward will be the only two places that I will be spending most of my time on. Facebook is obviously out of my life forever, myspace is really not happening, youtube ...well we all know how I feel about videos lol and my site will be on hold.

At this point I don't expect to have many fans still around and that's cool. There are many new girls that come out weekly if not daily that are keeping you guys busy lol Losing everyone is the least of my problems, all I need is one and from that one I will have fun and from that fun Sofia Legend will be reborn ...smarter and wiser :))

FREE 2010 WORLD CUP POOL

I was invited to join this FREE WORLD CUP POOL so I did.

I also decided to create a Sub-League: Team ★ Legend because I thought the site was pretty cool so if you know anything about World Cup Soccer or would like to be part of the World Cup Fever in June/July please join my Sub-League: Team ★ Legend.

It's basically for fun but I wanted to add a little more for the winner so I decided on a replica World Cup Trophy and a mystery prize :)) I have the replica World Cup Trophy in three sizes Small, Medium and Large... it'll be up to you to decide which one you want :)) I'm going to post a new video on my youtube channel showing the WC Trophy hopefully by this weekend. I'll let you all know here when it's uploaded.

I've had quite a few emails asking what exactly it is that I'm doing for this World Cup and so to keep it simple I'll basically mention that I am wholesaling and retailing World Cup product :)) Again, I'll try to make some videos and post photos of some of the product... the sooner the better because I definitely won't have much time when the World Cup starts.

I feel like I need a drum roll... this has been building up to more than it had to. The funny thing is that when I was prepared to write this the date was APRIL 1, 2010 and so I waited another day so nobody would think it was an APRIL FOOLS joke. That one day wait ended up being much longer and probably for the better because when I woke up the next morning I imagined having told you all the news the night before and I didn't like the way I was feeling. Am I feeling any better about my decisions today... no, but these past few weeks allowed me to look at everything more objectively and not emotionally. You wouldn't believe me if I even told you how many times I fired up a new blog post and deleted everything but today is for real. I have probably over thought it all but it was worth it because what I was going to write originally is not what I am writing today. How ever you may feel I can tell you that my original post would have been worse.

MY WEBSITE... as much as I could sit here for 24 hours straight and write about it I won't. What I will say is that running my site while working a full time job was a perfect formula for insanity! Not to mention the emails and all that other stuff online. Poor me right?! Look, this was my first time ever operating a website and yes of course I knew that it was going to be a lot of work but that is not what I was afraid of or couldn't handle... it was the time. The time it took to edit, upload, webcam, the ask sofia etc. was ridiculous. So I cut my youtube out, myspace, don't reply to emails... next thing I know I still don't get everything done. STRESS kicks in and it affects me like never before, I lost too much weight and other stuff I just won't get into... the point is that as much as I wanted to perform 100% at my full time job, 100% in my personal life, 100% in my family life and 100% to my website I just couldn't. I gave up my personal life, limited my family life to 1 day a week or every other week, called in sick just to ensure I can give 100% to the site. I saw and felt myself turning into another person and it was definitely not for the better. My body was shutting down. Poor me right?! I ran to my twitter as an escape but that obviously just took more of my valuable time. Something had to give and it did.

I've been told many times why am I still working if I have a site and the simple answer is that it allows me to be me and not Sofia Legend. For 40 hours a week I get to be normal, my job is fun and I love the people working with me but then when one finds out that I am Sofia Legend everyone knows and it doesn't become fun anymore and I lose my normal life. I understand that I'm not a Hollywood celebrity! Of course I can go here and there and have a normal life but it's obviously not the same and plus I do get noticed once in a while and that always plays in the back of my head when I go out.

Yes, once in a while I do miss my normal life before Sofia Legend and as much as I tried to get it back with my job it really was not the same. I tried to have the best of both worlds but at one point or another they will cross paths and one needs to make a decision... and I did. Last month I gave my company my resignation letter. As of today I do not have a job.

The more thought I put into everything I came to an interesting conclusion... as much as I thought my job was giving me my happy balance in life it was actually doing the opposite. My job was a comfort zone, it basically became an excuse for all my problems. I looked as my job as an escape but in reality it was taking me away from Sofia Legend. As much as I miss my life before Sofia Legend I also miss YOU more! What I'm trying to say is that I miss just waking up in the morning knowing that I will be spending the day with you. Stressing every morning on how I will fit you guys in my day was killing me. It basically all came to a point where I was just doing the absolute minimum to keep you guys from bitching 24/7. The minimum was the only solution I had left or else I was going to throw in the white towel... that minimum also gave me a little free time to really think about what I was doing.

The money from the site should have been a no-brainer to quit my job earlier but I thought my work was making me happy when in reality it was taking me away from what was making me happier. Quitting my job is only one of the few changes that I will be making to ensure that when I am ready to reboot it will not only be what I expect but what you will expect. As much as some of you may be disappointed in my progression... I am disappointed more.

In the meantime I have decided to be inactive online for the next 3 months and that includes no updates on the site. I may pop in here and there if I get a fair chance but please don't expect it. For ALL the current members freaking out right about now or yelling "THIS IS BS" I am offering you all refunds prorated. Simply send me an email at sofia@sofialegend.com and I will refund what ever is left on your membership.

The annual sign ups on my site has been taken off. I will continue to only allow monthly memberships... first month at $9.95 USD.

For the next 3 months I will be focusing on the World Cup Soccer coming up and I will be back mid July with no 40 hour a week job to hold me back.

I am terribly sorry for this extremely slow pace in getting my site content up to date but I won't apologize for the actual content for the obvious reason that the photos were never taken to be posted on my personal website. I never ever imagined that I would even have one. The photos were intended for facebook and stuff like that. Though there are almost 100 galleries and over 2000 photos on my site they are to show the progression of Sofia Legend in photos from the beginning. It is important to me to have the true story in photos on my site. If you simply want that typical stuff then you are in the wrong place and I suggest you send me an email so I can refund your remaining membership. Please understand that I have not yet taken 1 single photo shoot for my site, yes it's still older content but that will be done soon and then what? Give your two cents then, now it's simply no use complaining because the next 5 photo sets could be me in turtle necks and jeans watching birds in a sky... what is next is next by date, that is the integrity I want on my site. You have to be joking if you believe that I don't want to post newer photo sets asap... we are almost half way through 2010 and you actually think I am proud that I have 2008 photos up on my site as the latest gallery? It is what it is right now, I tried to get it all done faster but I couldn't. I quit my job to make sure that when I return to reboot in mid July that I will also have my surprise ready and that every single penny you ever invested in me will be worth it!

I can't believe it's 5:30AM :(( This took my over 5 hours to write and I said I was going to get to the points I had to say, sorry I guess I just wanted to get a few things off my chest and so when I return I can start fresh. I won't completely vanish but I'll be away for 99% of the time. I'll mostly tweet here and there so please make sure to follow me if you aren't already...

This is killing me as well and I don't like the fact that I am leaving you wondering and yes it is my fault but something happened tonight as I was writing everything out that changes a few things and thankfully so because I was totally going to make a terrible mistake.

Ok, as some of you already know I have "stuff" to tell you. Primarily most of you want to know WTF is happening with my site and understandably so... I'm not an idiot and I know the problems so of course I will tell you "stuff" about that too.

I've been wanting to get this all off my chest for over a week but I am glad I didn't because I changed my mind on something that actually will work out better for the unsatisfied. Nothing bothers me more than not being able to deliver to the level that I want to recently because of uncontrollable factors and have you complain so quite frankly I'll take care of all that tomorrow night. I'm only pushing this to another night because I can't even think clearly and I don't want to make a mistake... it's almost 3AM. The "stuff" I have to say tomorrow will not be a long winded BS story, I'll get straight to my points.

Before I go to sleep I just want to say this...

For the past few years I've enjoyed your company... your like family and so I've experienced all sorts of different personalities. I can pretty well draw a line and divide fairly accurately the ones who are "friends" and the ones who are not. Having said that, true "friends" unfortunately deal with the most and put up with the most. These "friends" are the ones each and everyone of you would do anything for, care for the most but also end up hurting the most... this is no different for me. In real life like most of you I can count my "true" friends on one hand but online is a different story so the pain is greater. To those true "friends" I will say "thank you" for putting up with so much! I remember writing way back that it wouldn't be easy being my "fan" "friend" but I never imagined it would be this tough but as confident as I was back then about it all being worth it I can still stand tall and tell you the same today. It is and always will be up to you to believe me.

To all the people that have taken their personal time and written in great length their feelings to me I have read each and every one of them sometimes more than once. Though you may not get a reply I can assure you if I haven't written you back I am still thinking about it... it will bother me until I do.

Tomorrow night will not be mind blowing "stuff", it's just "stuff" that needs to be said...

My intentions for these photos were to post them on my twitter account to show my support
for the Canadian men's hockey team.

I also really wanted to do something with the Canadian Flag so with the little time I had I quickly came up with this...

Everything was such a rush rush last minute thing that I had to use a paper clip to hold together the flag but it just wasn't behaving lol

VANCOUVER 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS

I won't write much about the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics other than it really made me proud to be CANADIAN! Sure it wasn't a perfect Olympics but I would still give it my two thumbs up. The spirit in my city, TORONTO, and all the "Canada" clothing I saw everyone wearing for the past few weeks has been amazing... puts a smile to my face. I may never see another Olympics here in Canada so to me this was pretty special :))

Speaking of special, CANADA won a total of 14 GOLD MEDALS which makes it a new WINTER OLYMPIC RECORD! How awesome is that :))

I know that I owe some of you guys a birthday, promo etc. fan sign and so SOFIA'S FAN SIGN FRIDAYS ON TWITTER will be a way for me to get it all done :)) Here is how it will work...

Every Friday on Twitter I will ask a question "About Me" and the first person to reply correctly I will make a personalized fan sign for. I'm seriously looking into getting a new camera, something a little "professional". I'm still keeping it all amateur but I'd like a little more "professional" quality to my photos moving forward. HAITI EARTHQUAKE

I don't need to tell you that on January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, followed by several powerful aftershocks, struck off the western coast of Haiti but did you know that on January 13, 2010 CNN had a poll asking "Are you planning on donating?" I don't know what the exact number was but I know it was easily over 60% that said NO! I shouldn't have been so surprised since I didn't donate either but I was.

Later that day I asked a friend...

"Do you care about what's happening in Haiti?"
"Of course, it's terrible."
"Have you donated?"
"No."
"Are you going to donate?"
"I don't know, probably not."
"Why not?"
"I care but I don't care enough to donate."

Every day that passes the images and news coming from Haiti is absolutely crazy! It's like a bad, bad, bad dream. Here I am in good ol' Canada going to work making good money enjoying my good ol' life... I feel guilty as hell!

I've tried to ignore it as much as possible because it just depresses me, the images online would bring you to tears in a second! Today like every other day since this earthquake almost every radio station is talking about donating to Haiti that is was numbing. Then I heard an announcement from the Government of Canada that made me donate the second I got home...

I don't know why I am typing you this since it's EVERYWHERE but screw it! Maybe the David Beckham post got you a little less excited about me and now this will turn you completely off but sorry to tell you this.... TOO BAD! but with all this media coverage today in your face 24/7 it's hard to "not care... enough." I am typing you this short story of what it took for me to finally donate and I actually still feel like shit! I'm almost in tears in realization of how much I am into my own life and my own problems that I don't even see that I am actually spoiled as hell! I am living the life of a QUEEN compared to what is happening in Haiti... and I know it's not just Haiti and that's maybe the entire problem here for me....................... I don't want to know ............................... honestly, the way I feel right now about how spoiled I am here in Canada I would empty my bank account for Haiti! But I don't despite this overwhelming selfish feeling. God bless the people who give their own lives to help the less fortunate... I am not one of them and that is why I feel like shit! $500 is pennies !!! I understand that Haiti is not the only problem in this World we live in and like I said before it all depresses me so I don't want to know. The Haiti earthquake struck a cord in me to donate and God forbid that we have MILLIONAIRES and BILLIONAIRES who never donate a penny to any cause.

I don't know of anyone personally that has donated to Haiti... like my friend I cared but not enough to donate. Now I did donate but as I already wrote I still feel like shit... sitting here typing to you in my cozy room feeling like I can have anything I want while many parts of this World don't even have clean water! I don't like this feeling and this is why I don't want to know all that, it makes me so sad. Haiti reminds me how blessed I am but also how spoiled and selfish I am... is this the way I should be feeling? 1000,000+ possibly dead just like that ...................................... alive and well one second, gone the next. Live my life to the fullest each and every day right? Sure, a month later I don't even ever think about this again. That is just the sad reality and having to think about this now is depressing. You reading this is probably depressing you but hey if it does and you "care enough" donate. If you were planning to join my site don't! Use this moment to donate not just to Haiti to any good cause... even if it's $1. If you are anything like me... "care enough" today and NOT tomorrow donate today!

I watched the midnight screening for Avatar on Thursday in 3D and I must say it was AWESOME!... and I'm not just saying that because James Cameron was born in Ontario, Canada :))

You guys know how much I love to watch movies and I've seen a lot this year but for some reason this one makes me want to write on my Blog to tell you to GO SEE IT !

I arrived at 10PM praying that there wasn't a line up because I was starving. I wanted to eat something before the movie but no such luck :(( There was about a dozen people already in line... 2 hours before the movie, that's crazy. I wanted the best seats so I waited with what seemed to be with all these "geeks" lol no offense but everyone around was me was talking about Star Trek, Star Wars or computer stuff lol No word of a lie... these two guys, well actually men, right in front of me started playing with their SONY PSP against each other. About 10 minutes later their friend, another "man" came, pulled out his PSP and joined in lol I think it was some kind of war game or something because they kept shooting at each other. Let's just say that the three of them kept me pretty entertained before we were finally able to walk into the theater :))

YES! Prefect seats lol All I saw was rows of people using their cell phones as we all waited for the movie to start. When the lights finally went off people started cheering. I was actually pretty excited myself to see this... I don't know why but I was a little nervous, I just wanted this to be a great movie.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I totally loved this movie, if it wasn't for being 3AM I would have gone to go see it again right away. The movie Avatar was something I have never experienced before, the 3D was incredible! Planet Pandora is so awesome! I want to live there :)) The fighting scenes were insane... simply put from my non professional movie review expertise lol it was perfect! I enjoyed the the flow of the movie and the ending was bang on... it didn't drag on, no crappy Hollywood ending. I even laughed a lot and that was important :))

I'm really thinking hard about what I didn't like and I can't think of anything.

Sam Worthington, you may remember from Terminator Salvation was great!

I usually don't post news stuff on my blog or even tweet my opinion on everything that is a trending topic but I can't help myself on this one... no it's not about "Tiger" but rather about another "animal"...the Polar Bear.

As most of you all know I love animals especially polar bears and so when I read on the internet a few days back about a male polar bear eating a baby polar bear I was shocked to say the least.

Today on the cover of the National Post newspaper they had this big photo on the front page...

"Is devoured polar bear cub a victim of global warming or act of nature?"

The irony for me is that this entire week I've been researching about climate change in the wake of the Copenhagen Summit so this story comes at an interesting time.

I have read the two articles and even though there is no scientific evidence to point at climate change... I say climate change is to blame.

Today when I visited www.sofialegend.com I noticed that the public side of the site is all messed up :(( All the links don't work and basically the entire public side of the site has a problem. I've already sent an email to the webmaster and hopefully he will look into it to see why this happened and hopefully it won't happen again.

If you are a member you need not to worry, the member side works perfectly fine :))

Sorry for any inconvenience and hopefully this will be resolved quickly. This may have happened because we are trying to get an update module up but not sure... I'll keep you all posted.

So I'm back up and running pretty well at 100% again. You don't really know how much you take for granted that's on your computer until it's all gone and you need to start over :(( Little things like even fonts! I was lucky enough for photoshop to tell me the names of my missing fonts so I can search them online to make my templates... this all really was a pain in the ass and again I really apologize for this great big delay. Here are a few updates and there will be more in a couple of days.

SOFIA - 0 WIN32.VIRUT VIRUS - 1

As I mentioned on my twitter a few days ago my computer was hit with a very nasty virus :(( The virus is the Win32.Virut. I thought I got rid of it yesterday because after a full scan because it didn't find anything but just about an hour ago I got that damn warning from my anti-virus and of course no surprise it's the Virut virus. It does seem like I can contain it. Not like before where it just spread like wild fire and basically kicked my ass. I was so scared I was going to lose EVERYTHING meaning even all my content! I have nothing backed up. Lucky for me this virus only attacks .exe files but when it did it shut it down for good. I actually was lucky to reboot and then restore to a better state so I googled this virus to see how to get rid of it.

I downloaded all these applications and when I did and started to run them the virus triggered and starting it's spreading. My computer fan went on just like before and never would go off. The virus seemed angrier because this time I couldn't even get to the restore application or anything it wouldn't even let me start anything. My firefox was shut down but it seemed to let me have Internet Explorer. My anti virus was just going off like crazy... every second it showed another file getting infected... much more and in a much faster rate then before. I freaked out and just turned off my computer. I called a friend and so we used my hard drive as a "slave" to scan it properly and this is what the scan found... pretty ugly eh :((

It wouldn't allow most of these files to be repaired. They needed to be deleted but a few of them were so damn stubborn and wouldn't even go away :(( This was the next day scan... such a pain these ones.

After another full scan...

These scans take a long time but nothing like this next one that took 24 HOURS 7 MINUTES & 1 SECOND !!!

All these scans took soooooooo long. Couldn't even get rid of those last few because it kept saying something like it needs to be rebooted and because it was a "slave" drive I don't think it really worked so we deleted those files and that of course messed up my operating system :(( Thank God I actually still have the original CD so I reloaded the operating system in a separate folder and again that took for ever. Did my scan and this is what happened...

...rebooted... scanned again and finally nothing. But as I mentioned there are a few of those Virut viruses still lingering around right now :(( ...and as I write this look what happens...

As someone has mentioned to me already it seems like I need to just FORMAT this drive and start from scratch... sounds great but I don't fully understand this backing up stuff and I'm not to sure if it will actually back up everything I need. For now it looks like I can operate online and save all my content on an external drive. I'll keep transferring everything I need on there and eventually format or get a new computer. Either way it all takes so long to to get operating 100% with all this acrobat, codec etc. that needs to be downloaded. Never mind all these windows updates and service packs OMG they take forever and all the rebooting... poor computer, my hard drive is burning red :((

Like I said, for now I'm back up and running and I'll just settle for this with my new and improved PAID FOR AVG super duper deluxe edition :)) and I must say this Microsoft Security Essentials program is doing an amazing job as well, it's finding and picking up stuff my AVG is not.

Now... I didn't just want to write about this bad ass Virut virus I also wanted to answer these two questions for you...

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOUR SITE?"

"WHERE ARE ALL THE UPDATES?"

I am terribly sorry and I'm sure sorry doesn't even cut it but honestly it was a pretty messy few weeks trying to get my computer back up and running. I hope you guys will understand this delay and be able to put all this behind us. I'll have more posts up this week to explain much more about Sofia's Lucky 7 and all that... I just got my emails back up and running today so I hope to get back to all you guys these next few weeks. Again, I am terribly sorry... I guess I need to start staying away from the porn sites :P

Oh no! Not another facebook story...

Oh yes it is. I will make this super short because I am about to literally pass out. I needed to write this before anymore emails come in "what happened to your facebook?"

Funny thing is that on my EPISODE 3 video I mentioned that I would be closing my facebook account and simply operating through this facebook fan page someone created for me to eliminate the work load on my personal account from emails and messages. Anyone on facebook can just communicate with me on that fcebook page wall or email me at sofia@sofialegend.com. You may have seen yesterday that I had a FACEBOOK PAGE banner on my blog with about 800 fans. I was going to take that over in a day or two. Today before I even uploaded EPISODE 3 both that facebook page that wasn't even mine and my own personal facebook account got deleted. LOL This can not even get any more ridiculous.

First of all for some crazy reason after 3 months I ended getting my personal facebook account reinstated on August 18, 2009 and ever since then I think I only uploaded 2 photos... these ones...

Nothing else has changed on my account, I don't think I even added an extra 100 "friends" on that account. I basically didn't even have time for facebook and that is why also today I got this email

"You have been so quiet lately. I know your facebook fans miss you from all the comments."

So there you have it... but for the love of God I have no idea why that poor guys facebook page was deleted it didn't even have any photos on it just from fans lol it really is so silly and it simply confirms that deleting my facebook account was the right thing to do. Facebook just beat me to it.

I will still continue to be on facebook but not active with an account, I just opened this facebook page with a whopping 3 fans lol YES !!!! A little shy of my 70,000+ fans before but it all starts with 1 right :)) I don't think I will ever get it to 100 fans before it gets deleted anyways but it will be fun while it lasts :P

TOUGH START TO OCTOBER

Been a little rough these past few weeks. My work schedule changed and it was a little difficult to adjust. These past few days I've been up at 6AM and haven't been home before 12AM :(( Week before had a lot of family and personal events. Week before that I was crazy sick and you can add pink eye to that :(( So yes it's been a little challenging. I've been reading all your emails and messages when I can and I am sorry if I can't back fast enough for some of you.

Updates have been a little slow but I just came back from delivering EPISODE 3 to my webmaster and he said it should be up in the morning. More photos will be coming this week and I truly hope to get back to all of your emails by this weekend.

LUCKY 7 will be updated and lots more info in a few days.

It sounds like I am always repeating myself but I will stress this part again... if I am not online as much within a week it bothers me more than you. It requires double or even triple the effort for me to catch up with the little free time I have after work. I understand I can't make everyone happy but I truly try to but these past few weeks I can't create more hours in a day so if I'm not as active online as the week before or as you expect please be a little more understanding.

BTW to the "originals" I've read your emails about an hour ago and before you go to sleep tomorrow you will have your answers. Right now I need to get to bed, have to wake up in 4 1/2 hours... just been a tough start to October.

SEPTEMBER 2009 COMING TO AN END

I wanted to post these updates yesterday but there seemed to be a problem with blogger :(( I also wanted to reply to all your comments and even that was giving me problems so it's good to see everything is back to normal this morning. I'll quickly try to get back to everyone before I head to work :))

Four weekends have gone by and so we should have our LUCKY 7 members but so far I have chosen only 6... I still need to decide on which LUCKY member gets the 8GB ipod :)) I'll do that in the next day or two. I will have the list of countries from the LUCKY 7 members for September also up before the end of the month.

I also still need to have my second webcam show for September. That will be delayed a little until I get myself 100%, I'm sure you don't want to have me sick on webcam lol

My whole blog situation has pretty well occupied my entire weekend :(( I've given it a lot of thought of what I was going to do and I think I have come to a conclusion but I'll will sleep on it for about another day.

The "update" module will be up soon on the site, there apparently was a little complication with it so hopefully that will all get ironed out soon.

Fan photos etc. is still going to happen so I am hoping to get that finally done soon as well.

ASK SOFIA episode 3 started late last night but didn't feel well to complete it so I'll have it up in a day or two. Seems like I am finally feeling better. Episode 4 will be done this week and Episode 5 this weekend... can't be falling behind on you guys :)) Just keep sending in your questions to sofia@sofialegend.com.

I will be replying to all your emails. I have read each and everyone one of them but don't always reply right away... some take a little more time than others but I will get to them shortly.

Since I am not up to date I will continue to have the monthly membership at $9.95 with the option of only $99.99 for the year :)) With 71 albums and over 1500+ photos I thought maybe I should bump it up to $14.95 but nah I can't do that to you guys lol So there you go another great month ahead of you for only $9.95 :))

Also at the end of September I will be donating to a charity from the list we selected and I will keep you all posted on that :))

MONDAY NIGHT RAW

This past week I must say I have been well over my head. It seems like whenever I decide to take some time away from everything for myself I fall super behind :(( It really sucks because there are so many movies out that I just can't see right now and what makes it even worse is that last Sunday I did a 7 day rental from Rogers Video and still up today I haven't seen it lol I wanted to see it tonight but decided to get a whole bunch of updates for you guys instead :P I guess I'll just have to return it tomorrow without seeing it... with a late fee :(( Crazy eh? Oh the sacrifices lol

So this past Monday I went to the ACC for Monday Night Raw to take a break from things and I must say it was pretty awesome and loud :)) I'll have the complete set on the site soon :)) For now here are a few...

Oh and believe it or not when I was having lunch that same Monday at my local restaurant I saw John Cena :)) Just as I sat down at my table he was getting up to leave. I didn't have my camera so that kind of sucked but he looked pretty intense and focused as he was putting on his suite jacket to leave so I let him be. Maybe next time I'll get him lol Not a huge wrestling fan but that was a pretty cool moment :P

The Official Sofia Legend Site has been up and running for about a week now and I have already concluded that I will close "Sofia's Sandbox" because I simply don't have the heart to make this my secondary Blog. For a couple of days now I was thinking why am I doing double the work and even thinking about transferring all these entries to the site is too time consuming and I'm sure I can use that time more wisely like uploading more photo sets right :P

This Blog literally is my life. It has everything! To be honest I don't even like the look of the Blog on the site it looks too crowded and cold plus it's horrible to use lol I have thought of replacing it with a forum but I don't like forums and I don't think it would do well. I wouldn't have the time to manage all that. Not sure of what will happen but for now I think an update page will do :))

Soon I will have all the FAN ART you guys have created for me and there will be an area for you to continue submitting to the site. Also hoping to have an area for wallpapers, screensavers etc. Any other ideas please let me know :))

I really love it here and so this will continue to be the Official Sofia Legend Blog :))

This set came out a little late and I apologize for that, I ran into a little problem while putting my first episode of Ask Sofia together. I didn't really have a clear idea of how I was going to do the Ask Sofia episodes but what I did know was that I wanted to pick 10 questions that were kind of similar so that it can be recorded all in one location. For example I'd choose 10 questions relating to clothes and shoes and have it all recorded in a shopping mall. The first episode was more of a test to see how it would go so I decided since it was a great day to shoot it at a park. I chose 10 pretty safe and easy questions for the first episode and let me tell you with all the bloopers and behind the scene footage I had enough for an 1 hour show lol It was originally 30 minutes and then I finally brought it to 12 minutes and that was just answering the questions. It looks like, at least for this episode that there may be a behind the scenes episode as well :))

Hoping to have the Ask Sofia video up today... still compressing :(( Videos take a l-o-n-g time.

Also today I chose the first Sofia's Lucky 7 member and to me it was kind of easy who it was going to be... I chose the first person that became a member :))

Next weekend will be pretty big... another Personalized 8X10 Print and the Complete First Season of True Blood on DVD :)) Good luck!

Thank you so much for all your support, patience and understanding this past month and a bit. I never imagined that it was going to take this much work to launch a site and so whenever I wrote it would be up soon I didn't think much of it until I missed my original launch date :(( When I finally decided to take it more seriously and not embarrass myself again I realized that with a complete month ahead of me I wasn't going to be able to launch it the way I wanted. It was like one idea lead to another and this was a better idea and then oh make sure we have this etc. There are still some more "Extras" I wanted especially FAN ART because I still have all those beautiful art from you guys, all that really means a lot to me. As some of you already know I was up until about 5:30AM the morning before, slept a few hours and went to work. Came back home around 10:30PM, finished some final touches over the phone with my webmaster, updated my blog, chatted on twitter with you guys and drank some champagne at 12:00AM :)) I was shaking and you guys were making me so nervous with your own count downs lol The good news its up and running with no problems and from what I've seen the reaction has been really good so far :)) I thank you guys again so so so much and I can't really say it any better than... "This is it... this is really it".

USER NAME & PASSWORD UPDATE

It was brought up at the launch of our Official Sofia Legend Site that when members signed up they had a limited amount of characters they were able to use for your USER NAME and PASSWORD... so if you had a name like Coastal Raven you were unable to use it.

It has been increased to 16 maximum characters for USER NAME and PASSWORD so that should help a few of you, sorry if your USER NAME is longer than 16 characters.

There is unfortunately no way to change existing members but please, please keep in mind that your USER NAME will NEVER BE DISPLAYED ANYWHERE! If you are one of Sofia's Lucky 7 or webcam winners etc. I will always ask you for any approval if I chose to use your USER NAME. Your members USER NAME is ONLY for authentication that is all.

For Sofia's Sandbox you can use pretty much what you want :))

Believe it or not in just under an hour our Official Sofia Legend Site will be launched :))

I thought long and hard on how I was going to create my content and so instead of trying to come up with all these fancy titles like “Sofia in Bed” or “Pink Bra and Underwear” etc. I decided to title everything by date. What was most important for me was to have the site capture the real and true journey of Sofia Legend, no BS. Starting from 2007 you will see me in resolution sizes that you have never seen me before. Don’t worry no flash stuff lol you can download it all :)) Everything is titled by the date of when the pictures were taken so it will be very easy to follow my time line.

You will get to see me model or at least trying to model for the very first time lol GOD just thinking about it :(( If you follow my Blog posts and kind of go back and forth with the content you can get a better understanding on how everything went :)) It truly is amazing and interesting to see the change in my body and of course my style. I remember reading comments for me to smile more etc. and looking back at all the older photos I see where you guys were coming from lol

The site will take you back in time where it all began and slowly bring you to where I am today, trust me you won’t miss anything and you will get to know me much better :)) Some of you may or may not have seen some of the content already from facebook etc. but I can assure you not at these resolutions and of course not in its entirety :))

I am not up to date with my content yet but don’t worry every week there will be updates and I am sure in no time I will have it all up to date and there will be nothing but new and fresh content :P The site will launch with over 800 photos and of course all sorts of other goodies. I have to tell you guys that I will miss you more than you will miss me for the rest of the this month. Hard to believe I know but its true. As most of you already know I need to get my site launched in 20 days and so I really need to pull back on my activity online or else I'll need to ask for another month and I know that won't go over very well with anyone lol

I have still so much to share with you guys just from this month alone... I have the Coldplay concert, the Real Madrid friendly against TFC, that crazy storm from yesterday... just lots of stuff but it will need to wait :((

Unfortunately I don't have that much time to do anything fancy for my BLOG'S 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY but one thing that came to mind first on a day so special to me is you guys. Nothing has mattered more to me then reading your comments good or bad and seeing you guys taking your own valuable time in creating videos, fan art etc. If you guys can only see the smile on my face when I see my name on your myspace section "People I would like to meet" :)) Trust me when I tell you that I would love to make that come true for you... I do care... more than you will ever know.

What I seem to always remember the most on my BLOG is one of my POLL QUESTIONS on whether this will be a better year or not for me... from the outside I don't think it seems like it... I lost my facebook fan page of 70,000+ members, I haven't uploaded any new youtube videos for the past 5 months, my myspace is totally unorganized lol I still have my facebook fanpage on there and some other crap I want to take off and update, I mean I haven't even put my countdown clock on it. My youtube inbox is out of control... blah blah blah blah the bottom line is that I'm not an idiot and I'm definitely not blind :)) If there is anything that I have learned from this past year is to prioritize... properly! My #1 is and has to be my site for not the reason most of you think but for the reason that I can finally have a place where I can enjoy with my friends and fans without any bs. A place where you will always find me. My website will be a and "the" new beginning for me. I will only have one single expectation from my site and that is to have at least one member... everything starts with one :))

From the inside my year has definitely been much better but of course I can't tell you guys everything about that lol but that's not important for you... it's the outside impression. All I can say is that sometimes the outside needs to be neglected to get ahead in the inside to make things much better on the outside :)) My website is a perfect example of that but I will tell you that I will make it all up to you when the time comes just don't even kid yourself for one second thinking that I don't care about you.

Didn't expect to write this much but hey there you go and just to top it all off for you I have personally just taken these photos for you, not the greatest but hey who said I was a photographer :P

THE DAY MICHAEL JACKSON DIED

If you would like to share your story of where you were and how you felt please feel free...
here is mine...

I first started writing this story the night I came back from the Zidane and Friends soccer game. I wrote about three paragraphs and then deleted it all. Why would I write about a guy crying about MICHAEL JACKSON dying? That would be embarrassing for him and kind of silly on my behalf. Now almost a week after MICHAEL JACKSON'S death the entire world is in mourning and about 12 people have committed suicide. I should be the one embarrassed for not writing this sooner to show the pure raw emotions from a grown man when he first heard that MICHAEL JACKSON died.

This is the same guy that couldn't stop dancing when he heard one of Michael's song on the radio and even I couldn't help myself. This was on February 14, 2009.

I am only 20 years old and I love 80's Music and that means MICHAEL JACKSON too. For the past week I have been obsessed in reading more about him and all I can saw is that I am in complete awe. This past week I have heard songs from him that I have never heard before and again it shows that my generation will never truly understand MICHAEL JACKSON but why is it that when I get home from work I feel the need to listen to his music and watch his videos over and over and over again? I sing his songs in my head at work and sometimes even out loud. It's crazy I know but it's the truth! I still can't believe that MICHAEL JACKSON is dead.

Yes, everybody dies but I wish that certain people NEVER DIE and
MICHAEL JACKSON is one of them!

June 25, 2009 I woke up around 12:30PM and was pretty excited for the Zidane and Friends soccer game at 8PM. As I rolled out of bed I powered on my computer and went to the washroom to brush my teeth. I grabbed myself a bottle of water from the fridge and then returned to my room to see what was happening on the World Wide Web. I first checked CNN and read that Farrah Fawcett passed away :(( WOW, that was pretty crazy to wake up to.

I browsed the internet for about another hour and then at about 2PM I took my shower... I kept my computer on. After my long shower I decided to work on a new blog entry and finished it at about 5PM. I just had to take a screen shot of my new twitter layout and upload it to my blog and I was done. The screen shot was taken at 5:15PM and I didn't even notice that MICHAEL JACKSON was the #1 Trending Topic :((

It was almost 5:30PM and I had to leave because I had dinner arrangements before the soccer game. Just before I was about to power down my computer I thought I'd take another quick look at my new twitter layout... yes I am a little vain :)) As I was about to click on the "X" at the top right corner of my browser this time I noticed MICHAEL JACKSON'S name as the #1 Trending Topic. Hmm that is kind of weird, what kind of crap are people talking about now. Even though I was in a rush to leave I had to quickly see what was going on. As I clicked on MICHAEL JACKSON and started reading a few tweets I was shocked! I was not expecting to read this. I quickly went on CNN and read that MICHAEL JACKSON was rushed to the hospital :(( WOW is this day not going to get any better? That totally sucks. I couldn't stay much longer but made the time to send out a quick update on my twitter at 5:29PM.

Just as we arrive in the parking lot of Boston Pizza we hear on Z103.5 that TMZ is announcing that MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD. Z103.5 was also quick to say that no major news station has confirmed this. I was in total disbelief and the guy I was with his eyes started to water. I asked if he was okay and he replied "This is bullshit! This can't be true. I'm okay lets go."

As soon as we sat down to order he pulled out his blackberry and went on CNN. He says with his eyes still glossy "He's not dead." I don't even know what to say at this point. Seeing a grown man in tears is not something I see every day. I am speechless. As I watch him frantically pressing the refresh button on his blackberry all I can say is "He meant that much to you.... "I grew up with him" he replied teary eyed. I can just see and feel him reflecting back in time... then the tears started to fall. He tries to man it up and begs me to please stop talking about him. "When my grandmother came from Germany to visit me here she gave me a MICHAEL JACKSON'S Thriller cassette tape with a Sony Walkman that was the size of two bricks. I never stopped playing it and felt the luckiest and coolest guy alive." "I had the glove, the Thriller jacket ..." "My parents and I like the rest of the world would be glued to our television waiting for the premier of his new videos ..." He stops... "you wouldn't understand, you weren't even born. Oh and if you wanted to know I did see him in concert and the Thriller jacket came in three colours white, red and black, I had the red one."

His blackberry wasn't refreshing fast enough for him... he starts to curse. The waitress comes over to take our order, he orders and replies to his text messages at the same time. At about 6:20PM I hear him say "Ah haaaa, CNN says he's in a coma! He's not dead!" He had the biggest smile on his face and before I could even say a word I see him refresh his blackberry again... he drops his phone and covers his face with both his arms. He didn't even have to say a word. OMG! Michael Jackson... is dead.

I felt like shit. What an overall crappy day! Not another word was said until we get into the car. He speaks first "Don't worry, the rain stopped and the sun is coming out. We are still going to have a good time." I crack a smile pretending to believe him.

It's exactly 6:30PM as he starts the car, we are on our way to BMO Field to watch Zidane and Friends. Just as we drive out of the parking lot I see this great huge rainbow. I almost yell pointing at it "Look". "WOW, quick get the camera" he says. For the next 18 minutes we find ourselves smiling and laughing taking pictures of this beautiful rainbow. The rainbow was with us the entire way until we got off the Gardner Expressway. It had made us both temporarily forget about what had happened and we never found ourselves speaking about Michael until AFTER the soccer game when we heard Billie Jean on the radio on the way home :))

On Saturday June 20, 2009 I had a professional photo shoot for six hours and I must say that it was a lot of fun. This was my third professional photo shoot but my first where there was a make up artist on hand. I cringed a little when she started because I was like "Oh God my face is going to look fake or like plastic." I was so nervous but excited at the same time. I didn't know what to expect so when my face was finally done I was SHOCKED! I didn't even recognize myself lol There was so much make up on my face that I started thinking about all these celebrities on what they have to go through everyday, simply crazy. I mean it was pretty cool to have it done to me for the first time but I prayed that the end result would be amazing and not have my neck and face a different colour or even worse have this make up line tracing around the bottom of my face :(( The photographer was amazing and super prepared. He came all the way from the US and I'll talk more about him later :)) I delayed the shoot for almost a month and I am happy that he showed professionalism and patience with me. I wasn't nervous at all even though my last professional photo shoot was eight months ago. When the photo shoot was over he gave me roses and all the photos on a USB flash drive, that was awesome :)) I couldn't wait to get home and see the photos. I looked at all 506 of them very quickly to get an overall feeling and I must say the make up was not as bad as I thought it would be. Some photo sets did not look like me but I think that is a good thing right lol On Sunday I looked at them again a little slower and created an awesome DESKTOP WALLPAPER, I loved it :)) I took a few days away from the photos but last night I looked at them for the final time before I wrote an email to the photographer to let him know which ones I wanted. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do with all these photos and then I replied to him .........I wanted ALL OF THEM!

Overall I loved most of them and the ones that were ok I wanted to use for behind the scenes, scrapbook or bloopers. I waited for his reply crossing my fingers that he wouldn't freak out that I wanted all of them. He replied within the hour to tell me he was cool with it :)) I was so so so happy! He told me it would take a while and of course I understood but I begged for him to send me 3 photos for you guys from one set. One for myspace, one for twitter and the other for my blog :)) After he sent me an edited photo for my twitter I almost lost my mind. WOW! Now I know why models prefer professional photo shoots, they make you look so perfect :)) Though the process may not be so pretty I must confess that the end result is AMAZING! I can't wait to get a few more photos for you guys so in the mean time check out my new twitter layout :))
